Booking & Cancellation Policy

Deposit

Deposit to secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Notice

If you need to cancel your booking, we require at least 48 hours notice prior to your arrival date.

Deposit Transfers

If you are unable to attend your booked dates, your deposit will not be refunded, but it can be transferred to another trip whenever, forever. 

This allows flexibility while helping us plan and prepare the island experience

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we get to Motu Ahi?

From Papeete, Tahiti, there is a 30 minute ferry ride to catch operating every hour 7 days a week. There is 3 companies to choose from: Aremiti, Terevau, Vaeara’i. Tickets cost approximately 1,500–2,300 XPF (roughly $15–$23 USD) per person. Upon arrival in Mooera, there is a 10 minute drive to the launch spot to Motu Ahi. Transport from the ferry terminal to the Motu’s launch spot is organised by Team Ahi Kaa of Motu Ahi. The boat ride to the Motu is about 5 minutes.

What kind of boat is used to get to the Motu?

A motorised outrigger canoe. Can have 12 people including luggage on baord.

Is water good for drinking?

Yes water is fine to drink.

Is food available on the island?

We serve complimentary tea and coffee, but no food. Guests are instructed to brign their own food to cook with in our kitchen facilties.
