Welcome to Motu Ahi
In the heart of French Polynesia, off the coast of Moorea lies a small atoll where land, ocean, culture, and wairua meet.
Visitors who arrive on Motu Ahi are not simply tourists; they are welcomed as temporary members of the island community. We invite you to call Motu Ahi your home during your stay in French Polynesia.
Our intention is clear and unwavering: To restore and affirm the rightful pathway for our Māori and our brothers and sisters of the pacifica to set foot in French Polynesia.
Not as visitors, but as whānau.
In a way that is customary, traditional, and grounded in ancestral connection.
This is the call.
The message carried in a bottle accross the tides of time.

Return home.
Remember the journey of ou ancestors.
The great navigators who crossed Te Moana Nui A Kiva, voyaging between islands without boundary or seperation. From Tahiti, Rurutu, Rimatara, Maupiti, to Rarotonga and generations later to Aotearoa new Zealand.
We are not seperate, we are the continuation.

Come back descendants of Tupaia.
Come back descendants of Tangiia.
The ocean has always been our pathway.
The voyage is not new, only remembered.

The lagoon and surrounding ocean are home to abundant marine life. Guests are welcome to snorkel and explore beneath the surface. In July, migrating whales pass through the region, and dolphins are often seen in the nearby waters.
You are welcomed into a home for all Indigenous cultures of the Pacific. Here, you arrive not as a tourist, but as part of an extended family woven together by moana, te papa, and shared story.
